If you’re someone who isn’t a fan of queuing in a supermarket let alone for the driving range, then we’ve got you covered. And if you’re someone who likes to just turn up and go, we’ve got you covered too!
Our new full Toptracer range and Your Golf Booking system is taking shape, so it’s time to share some of the thinking behind what’s in store for you on 7th September.
We say it so often, but we’ll say it again … your views mean everything to us, and since we reopened after lockdown, the driving range has seen a huge surge in demand for bays. On a rainy night or a Saturday afternoon, you have been unbelievably patient as we’ve juggled queues to find you a space. But you have also told us that your visit would be even more enjoyable with less of a wait! It’s a nice problem for us to have but one that we wanted to fix for you.
There is no sign of the passion for golf, and Toptracer golf in particular, slowing down, so we’re trying to get ahead of the curve this Autumn. From 7th September our new bay management system – YOUR GOLF BOOKING – will see a change from offering you different basket sizes of balls to now offering you half an hour, one hour, 90 minutes or two-hour time slots on the range. In a nutshell we’re moving from balls to hours, so you’re guaranteed peace of mind with a start time.
And even better …. every session comes with UNLIMITED BALLS so you can hit as few or as many (and as slowly or as quickly) as you wish in your time slot.
Plan Ahead or Just Turn Up
The other benefit of our new approach is that you will be able to plan ahead and book your favourite bay (or bays) ready for your arrival. Our booking platform will go live on Monday 5th September and the link will be shared on our website and on all our social media channels. It’s pretty intuitive but we’ll show you the ropes next week.
Most importantly though, you can still just TURN UP at the range as you do at the moment. Pre-booking is NOT required, and everyone is welcome.
Our three private VIP bays will be available to reserve as always, and there’s no change to our private golf lessons, group lessons and custom fittings.
Privilege Card Accounts
You’ll no longer need to use the ball dispenser to collect your golf balls. Instead, baskets will be preloaded in every bay and refills will be ready for you at each end of the range. Any credit on Privilege Card Accounts can be used for sessions instead. On Monday 5th September, your credit will be transferred to the new platform ready for you to access and you will receive a number of confirmation emails. Closed 5th and 6th September
And just a final reminder that while we get everything in place, the driving range and The Kitchen will be closed to the public all day on 5th and 6th September. We look forward to opening our doors at 9am on 7th September and showing you around.
